underwater love, the making of

Usually free work for commercial photographers means to shoot this things, whe don`t get paid for. In this case the idea was to shoot a phantastic underwater scenery, titled underwater love.

Because of no experiences with diving we had to compensate this deficiency with a lot more planing and well done organisation.
From the beginning we wanted to use our Hasselblad H3DII Equipment, so after research we get a underwater housing from Germany. One of the big benefits was to connect the housing directly with firewire to the computer outside the pool. The shooting was done in the pools of Lustenaus „Parki“. For lightning we used the Broncolor Scoro, an underwater flashlight and the sunlight. The diving scool Laguna in Lindau supported us underwater.

The hardest part of work was for Austrian Playmate Dominique. This brave and professionell working girl had to to clench her teeth in the 18¨C degree cold water. Michale Lung did the videos with the Canon 5D , based in an Auquatech housing. Luca was my assistent underwater, Lukas was the mac operator. Special thanks to Klaudius for the making of pics.
